About help and need help

I am here to get help and offer help to others.  I do not have money, I am not asking for money.  When I found this page I was looking for a place to ask anyone who is looking to trade in their curent vehicle (not a lease)to a dealership if they would sell it to me instead.  I need a car. I can't afford a car. I don't have cable TV or cell phone, I use dial up to connect to the internet.  I am a single parent.  I had a car. It was a good car. I needed money to move myself and my child to a better home. I sold my my car to a dealership for all I could get, $400. I loved my car and worked hard to pay it off.  I wish I could have gotten more for it.  I wish I could have sold it to someone who really needed it rather than to a dealership that would make about $4000 on it when it went up for resale.  As a matter of fact they sold it almost immediately.  I got a parking ticket for it a month after I sold it (they used the VIN # because the temp. plate was illegible)where the new owner parked it about five miles away from my old address.  At least I don't have to watch someone else drive it.  About the car I am looking for: I would like one that runs good and will pass inspection.  I understand I will likely put more money into it to keep it going. I don't care if it's ugly. I would prefer that it has a good running engine and transmission, seats and a sturdy floor. I would prefer that it has working heat and A/C.  I can live without a radio.  I would like it to be an automatic. I can teach myself to drive stick if I have to.  The closer to Philadephia, PA the better.
